What do I do if the round had multiple closings?

If a financing round has multiple closings, you can create a single round and use the date closest to when you made your investment. If you participated in multiple closings, then you can add a follow-on investment (transaction) to the original round, as long as all the terms are the same.

Should a subsequent closing have different terms, then it is best to record it as a separate round, especially if that's how the company lists it on the cap table. If you record another round be sure that the name of the round is different from the first one and clearly mark that it is a follow-on or subsequent closing.
