Although warrants might be granted as part of a financing round (e.g. Acme Series B or Acme Bridge 2026), it is important that you create a separate round for warrants in order to track the specific terms, such as the strike price and void date. Warrants granted will be tracked in their own round until they are exercised into an equity round. There will be no value assigned to them unless you add a round by round valuation to assign a value, such as what they might be worth if exercised.
After you record a warrants round, you can then record a warrants grant transaction and eventually a warrants exercise transaction.
Note that when you enter a Void Date it will appear in your list of Important Dates for which you can set a reminder to be notified as the date approaches, so you don't miss out on any opportunity to exercise your warrants.
