Enterprise administrators are able to create custom tags, or labels, for categorizing key data related to companies, investment funds, and investors. These tags can be used to track, filter or report on specific criteria.
For example, you could mark a company with a tag such as Fundraising, Follow On, New CEO or Management Team, Tax Credit, Board Seat or by a specific type of exit it had, such as Write Off, IPO or somewhere in between. The possibilities are endless and totally customizable to meet your needs! Once you've added tags, you can easily filter for them in Custom Analysis to view entities that match your specific criteria, their investment performance, and their percentage of your overall portfolio.
Similarly, with investor tags, you could mark an investor as Active or Inactive, Current or Former. You can also track administrative milestones like Dues Paid or Agreement Signed, or note key roles such as Referral Source, Deal Lead, or Board Member, depending on their level of participation. This tagging system provides a flexible way to mark investors with specific criteria you'd like to track.
