How do I add investor tags?

Enterprise accounts are able to create custom tags or labels for investor records as a way to categorize them with key data points for easier tracking, filtering and reporting.

For example, you could mark an investor as active or inactive, current or former. You could indicate if they've paid dues, signed agreements or if they're an active referral source, deal lead or board member. There are many ways you could use the tag filter to mark investors with specific criteria. Once you've added your tags, you can filter for them in Investor Management to see which investors match the criteria.

How to add a tag to an investor profile:

  • Go to Investor Management.
  • Find the investor name and click the pencil icon next to it to edit the record.
  • Look for the Tag(s) field in the Basic Information section.
  • Add a tag by typing in your entry. If tags have already been created, then choose one from the list. Add or select other tags as needed.
  • Save your entry.

How to view investor tags:

  • Go to Investor Management.
  • Look for the Tag(s) column to see entries.
  • Use the Tag(s) filter to narrow down the investor list based on specific criteria selected from the drop down list.
  • Download the investor list, including the Tag(s) field if you'd like to conduct additional analysis offline by further filtering or sorting your tags.
